Market launch of eluminocity in Switzerland. 

MUNICH, March 28, 2017 –  In March the charging infrastructure in Canton Zürich was expanded with eluminocity charging stations. This is the first installation of eluminocity in Switzerland. Two charging stations were just recently launched with another one following shortly. The approach is unique: Consisting city infrastructure was used to expand the charging points as regular street lights were transformed into charging station with eluminocity’ retrofit charging solution.

MUNICH, September 01, 2016 – The eluminocity GmbH offers an extensive range of charging stations for electric vehicles with the expansion of its product portfolio for AC chargers. Two newly developed models complete the product offering and the charging station for cities and municipalities, which is already placed on the market.

MUNICH, August 25, 2016 – The eluminocity GmbH, based in Munich, enlarges its office space in order to keep pace with continued growth. The company relocates to recently renovated office spaces in the Karlstrasse 96, not far from the former corporate headquarters in the Schellingstrasse.

Starnberg is extending the functions for free charging at the city’s “Light & Charge” stations.

STARNBERG, August 9, 2016 – Since August 2015, electric car drivers can charge their vehicles in Ludwigstr. 6 in Starnberg for free. From August this year, there will be introduced an authorization process via RFID Card or QR Code to allow users to charge barrier-free in the future.

“Light & Charge“ represents the successful integration of charging points into the existing urban infrastructure. Pre-existing public amenities, such as lampposts, can be equipped with charging points easily and cost-effectively. Access can be obtained via RFID Cards or QR Codes. The charging station is particularly suitable for city centers and residential areas due to its compact construction.
